This Privacy Policy explains what data Local Legends collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. This template establishes the baseline; review with counsel before publishing.

1. What we collect

• Account data — email, optional display name and avatar, optional phone number.
• Profile data — anything you choose to publish on your public profile (bio, location, portfolio, categories).
• Activity data — sign-in times, IP at sign-in for security, in-app actions for audit logs.
• Optional verification — for business verification only, you may choose to upload supporting documents.

We deliberately do not collect government identification for standard verification. See Verification Standards.

2. How we use data

To operate the service, to keep accounts secure, to power discovery and recognition features, and to communicate with you about your account.

3. Sharing

We don't sell your personal data. We use trusted infrastructure providers (hosting, email, payments) and share only what's necessary to deliver the service.

4. Your choices

You can edit your profile, opt out of optional verifications, request your data, or delete your account at any time from account settings.

5. Children

Local Legends is not intended for users under 18.

6. Changes

We'll notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice.
