This is a starting Terms of Service template for Local Legends. It establishes the basic rules for using the platform. You should review and customize it with your legal counsel before publishing publicly.

1. Account

You must be 18 or older to create an account. You're responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for activity under your account.

2. Acceptable use

Use of Local Legends is subject to our Community Guidelines. Violations may result in content removal, profile suspension, or account termination.

3. Content you post

You retain rights to your content. By posting it, you grant Local Legends a non-exclusive license to display it on the platform. You're responsible for ensuring you have the rights to anything you upload.

4. Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance. Founding cohort rates are locked for the lifetime of an active subscription, as described on the pricing page.

5. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or our Community Guidelines. You may delete your account at any time from account settings.

6. Disclaimers

Local Legends is provided "as is." We don't guarantee that creators or businesses listed on the platform will meet your expectations. We also don't mediate commercial transactions between you and creators.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Local Legends is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. We'll notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice.
